Inspired by the great work of @00Mux on an AI-powered CV-building system, I started thinking deeper about one topic I have been researching recently:
ATS for healthcare practitioners vs. standard ATS systems
Many healthcare recruitment systems still use generic hiring models designed for ordinary administrative or corporate roles.
But healthcare recruitment is different.
A physician, nurse, or allied health practitioner cannot be assessed only by keywords, years of experience, or a generic CV filter.
Healthcare hiring requires:
• License and classification verification
• Credentialing and primary source verification
• Specialty and subspecialty matching
• Competency-based screening
• Procedure/logbook review
• Clinical privileging
The real question is:
Do our hiring systems truly understand the difference between a standard CV and a healthcare practitioner’s professional profile?
Could skilled and qualified healthcare practitioners be missing opportunities simply because the screening system is not designed to recognize their true professional value?
