@Hookean1 the only constant is the curriculum how you teach differs. no too teachers (or trainers) are the same

For those that need to hear it, there is not one way to teach. I've been teaching longer than most and have learnt what works for me and my classes. It's unique to me. A mixture of methods and lived experience. I'm open to learning more. Refining keeps it fresh.

Now that it’s gone out to parents I can share that I have handed in my notice and as of December 20th I will no longer be a teacher 😢 You can’t pour from an empty cup and I’ve lost the love I once had for my job. Onwards and upwards in 2025 ✨

@MattDevittWX Similarly, there are parts of the world where the Sun doesnt set. Parts of scotland, in the summer, for example get perpetual twilight, you can read a paper by it.

The sun will set today in Barrow, Alaska (now #Utqiaġvik) and won't rise again until January 22nd. That's 64 days with NO SUN! 🧛‍♂️

@HelpATeacher Theres a lot of sense in that. Many lessons that are not taught in school. Its important parents put the time aside to instill these values and life skills not taught in school

Just like to mentioning I've been observing Betelgeuse (alpha Orionis) for over 50 years and it still hasn't exploded (as far as I know).

Why is it so hard to go back to the moon?

@curiosityonx there would also be a lot of new science we could discover there, not to mention cheaper space travel. but its the cost of going there (as well as the dangers) to setup a lunar base.

@curiosityonx much of the information gleaned from the previous missions has been lost. cost is another consideration. Apollo cost many billions. it would need massive state investment, re inventing the wheel. no corporate will touch it. despite the potential ROI for going there
