As is the norm, habitual andolanjeevis will hijack their protests, giving the govt and their proxies an opportunity to call it a 'Soros-funded conspiracy' to destabilize the coalition govt. This might convince many of their core voters, but it will cause extreme distrust among students and their families—both current and past exam takers, as well as those preparing for future exams. This involves crores of people and is an extremely bad path to take. If the govt does not want to investigate for reasons best known to them, at least conduct this one simple experiment: Call the top 3,000 ranked students in NEET UG 2024 for a mock test at govt expense. These students have scored above 97% in the NTA-conducted NEET. They should all score at least 60% in the mock NEET test, which is not an unreasonable expectation. Conduct the mock test under an independent agency and compare the results with the original scores to ensure the integrity of the examination process and put speculations to rest.

Surely, between regional allies, a dominant party and lateral entrants from bureaucracy, space could be found for representing 14% of the population. 🙏
