@Life0fGrimes thy may have, but anyone who thinks he has more chance of winning a Group 3 race, where last year the 2nd ran an RPR of 111 than jumping 8 hurdles and probably not even needing to come off the bridle has a major issue with emotion versus logic.

@CiaranMeagher3 Agree on F2F point. Was amazed owner and trainer declared another 4 it. Can’t get head around drift in Sarratoga when he was that good. Why didn’t anyone know? I’d say stayers (longer term) do win the turners. Envoi, Bob, Bally etc more 3m than 2m’s.

His trainers long term representative for it. I didn’t like NDTE in the Turner’s and place Laid. 3m chasers don’t win that race. It’s all about speed. Next year he’ll get what he’s made for. Nicholls is one of the best still with those types. I’ll get a few months of dreaming!

Cheltenham Takeaways 🧵 Biggest High: Prob OPS winning. 1st time there in a number of years + the buzz in the stands of a fav getting up late on was top class. Biggest Disappointment: 40 mins later, when Kopek just couldn’t get the job done. I think he would have, many don’t.

Many of those people just bored and probably didn’t go 🤦🏻‍♂️ It was a grand experience… just need to stop the smokers/vaping idiots in the stand now 😬

@RichyShea @PaddockPreview @CheltenhamRaces I'd take a guess that a slice of that % are people that didn't go. The type that want to be negative about everything. Promise you, on track every day, spoke to loads, not one negative comment and most talked about improvements they'd noticed.

@roryfitz15 It was great. I’ve been every day 4 the last 12 years and was 1 of the best experiences. The retreat bar took alot away from arkle/vestey bars. Queues 4 everything seemed fine all the time. Great mix of things going on (the courtyard area is good) & no1 should have complaints
