Beyond 2030 with PLHIV in the lead: Today, ​The Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+)​ convened with PLHIV leaders from national & regional networks! What a powerful, inspirational, and energizing moment! We heard and learned from one another and resolved to come together now more than ever and SPEAK our LOUD for the community of people living with HIV we are all privileged to serve! Lots of lessons from how leaders are adapting to mitigate the obvious challenges experienced in global health currently. We are excited to strengthen our collaboration for a strong PLHIV-led advocacy towards shaping the next Global AIDS strategy (2025) and the High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS (2026). #Survey The US State Department has issued a'stop-work' order for foreign assistance for at least #90days, potentially cutting billions of dollars for life-saving aid. @gnpplus and @Aidsfonds_intl have volunteered to do the mapping of the impact to communities, seeking input on the effects experienced so far. Day 1 of the FCC meeting began with an opening session to welcome and introduce participants, set clear expectations, and create a safe space for upcoming discussions. Representatives from various stakeholders gave brief remarks, while guest speakers provided opening comments and shared an update on the 10-10-10 targets 🎤. An interactive poster session followed, offering participants an overview of each country’s progress toward eliminating HIV-related stigma and discrimination. The session also highlighted the most significant shared challenges countries currently face in addressing this issue. At the #GP_FCC meeting opening ceremony, Dr Niti Haetanurak of @ddc_riskcom @pr_moph announced that #Thailand🇹🇭 is determined to achieve the 10-10-10 targets by 2030 and will advance awareness about U=U to do so.
