@peresuslog @IanCutress @_markel___ Actually Ice-Lake's system-agent converged with IOSF's micro-architecture used in Atom SOCs. They are pretty similar now. The big difference is the coherent domain where Atom used crossbar and Icelake uses ring

Do you know what is "new converged chassis fabric" in new Intel Ice Lake CPUs: it's Intel On Chip System Fabric (IOSF) actually, comming from SoC and PCH. So, now devices in CPU complex are accessible by IOSF Side Band
