just got a new controller and i genuinely think adapting to this shitty fucking controller with sticky buttons and a dogass dpad for like the course of almost a year made me like 10x better lol

I notice Counter Blitz locks out burst for the entire attack. This feels like the main strength of going for it over your regular counter hit routes. Spend 50 of your own burst to lock them out for a decent chunk of damage.

@Bacon4402 That’s a good point. It might be hard knockdown wall break because otherwise it would be pretty limited to pre 50 tension game state, since combos into would just be better

@AKGFilming I think this is a bit better overall because you can see it doing a chunk of damage to May equivalent to a raw super. But also we have to consider what the oki looks like. It looks like it might send them really far away

@OGChewySnickers I think the one thing I really did like about wild assault was the fact you nibble a bit of their burst bar. So you get a couple seconds guaranteed safe before they can burst again, although this achieves a pretty similar result

But granted, it is much less applicable than the WA we have now so I think it could be ok in my book too

Lowkey if you didn’t like wild assault for locking out burst then this is even worse and takes no skill so uh 🤨 it’s pretty cool to watch though
