Also, why were Destroy moves removed from Strive? If you got caught with one that was a skill issue. Also, it added a nice flair to the game

@Argenrost Elphelt without a counterhit requires the use of meter or WA to combo into her main tools. Point is, many characters are balanced around this mechanic, and the removal will require a massive change in routing and compensation as not everyone uses it to the same extent.

@Argenrost Dizzy uses it to grab an opponent mid combo, which is a longer throw animation so that her special move Wings of Light can activate, draining the opponent’s health.

Strive taking out WA is, from what I understand, a very good move, but I doubt it's replicable in other FGs unfortunately. A mechanic that was added late into a game's lifespan and relatively homogenous and self-contained from other system mechanics is easy to disconnect.

@OGChewySnickers It also auto wall breaks as well near the corner so I wonder if it’s actually reverting to season 3 super wall breaks esque.
Then again it’s only on heavy counterhits anyway with minimal damage, especially compared to just doing a combo so that kinda makes sense.

I notice Counter Blitz locks out burst for the entire attack. This feels like the main strength of going for it over your regular counter hit routes. Spend 50 of your own burst to lock them out for a decent chunk of damage.

To all the people tweaking out. This bundle is prolly for the entire game +dlc from season 1 to 4 + whatever is in 2.0. I think there will be a 2.0 season to buy or upgrade. Let's not get too hasty

Breaking the wall didn't give you anything if you already had all your assists before iirc. Now it looks like you at least get 1 assist gauge no matter what

Super Skills no longer cause Wall Break. Super Skills triggered Wall Breaks that resulted in stage transition. However, this animation was long and affected the overall tempo of the game. We want to minimize timeframes where the game does not accept any inputs or where the players are just watching the screen, hence this change. @Evo Selling out to Saudi Arabia sportwashing to fund 5 new locations that will never reach the level of prestige as the one in Vegas is diabolical to me. I understand the idea behind trying to get more profit but spending all this money on new locations all the time LOSES more helps
