🚨 Yesterday afternoon, @FBIDallas received an alert from partners that a subject had barricaded himself holding his girlfriend hostage. He was believed to be armed with firearms and incendiary devices. Thanks to the rapid response and coordination by FBI Dallas, our Hostage Rescue Team and other CIRG elements - the teams quickly deployed to Aubrey, Texas, to help our partners execute a hostage rescue operation. I’m extremely proud to say that the victim was rescued safely and the subject was arrested. The subject has now been turned over to our partners to face state charges. Well done to our incredible @FBI teams and partners, the Aubrey, Denton, McKinney, and surrounding Police Departments — all of whom acted bravely and prevented what could have been a tragedy.

Looking at the schedule for the 16 NCAA Tournament games played today, and I have no real interest in any of them. I’m not sure what that says about me. Do I not really care that much about college basketball anymore? Do I miss the possible Cinderella stories? Are the games just not that compelling? Has all this NIL discussion ruined my interest? Or something else? I’m not really sure, but probably a combination of a few of those.
