She is currently 2 years away from her ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) on her own Skilled Worker visa, but her current sponsorship is has no job from day 1, she has a small business she has been managing in. Her spouse recently secured a Skilled Worker visa of his own. She is debating whether to switch to a Dependant visa to gain the flexibility to work a higher-paying, more stable job, or to persevere on her current sponsorship for 2 more years to secure her residency faster. Any insights on the long-term trade-offs would be appreciated."
