In those situations where a striker is backing into the defender, there is a holding of the shirt high up in every challenge, it’s to stop them being able to gain ground. It happens in every challenge so it’s not silly at all.

@Jag0272 @SunderlandAFC He’s grabbed the players shirt (as is done in every challenge between strikers and CBs) and has ended up getting hold of the shirt and also 2 strands of hair accidentally. It’s not ballards fault the wolves player has stupid long hair.

Angulo and Ta Bi could be the difference-makers for this.
But I agree. Sunderland only have one player in the top 50 for dribbles per game, and it’s Mayenda, who doesn’t even get a chance.

@Parkersafc @Eddsyy On the other hand we paid £30m for Diarra from a top European league, and significantly less for Sadiki. So that shows the fee paid doesn’t totally depict the quality of a player.
