@s8mb Agreed but this is why we need to measure a country it simply by GDP. Sure it's very important but ultimately if a country is happy it doesn't mattert where they sit in GDP per capita

I’m not a “work from home” guy by any means. But I’ve done it a bit lately and it’s certainly nice to see my family during the day. I can see why it’s so popular. But, and it’s a big but, my productivity is unquestionably lower. There’s just no substitute for the office.

Matthew Wright is referring to me not just as ‘racist’ but calling me THE racist now. I’m not sure he realises that it’s still not an argument (and Islam is still not a race), and that he has pretty good contacts in ‘the media’ including his own show on national radio in which he is very free to amplify his own views. He is very welcome to pitch to the Telegraph just like I did. I wonder what he’s insinuating. I did not realise this time last year when I was dealing with angry teenagers and very young adults at uni that I would go on to encounter men older than my own parents who suffer with the same inability to put forward arguments. I genuinely did not expect to find that these tactics were considered convincing by anyone other than sophomoric university students. Alas.

@AndrewGold_ok I rarely sing it as it means nothing to me. I am neither religious or want a royal family.

Football exposes the contradictions of multiculturalism on a world stage. We're told that people of the Muslim faith are just as English as the rest of us. Yet multiculturalism also encourages to celebrate their own culture and prioritise it above any kind of English one. So we end up with the celebration of England's first ever Muslim player - hooray - only for him to refuse to sing (or even pretend to sing) the country's national anthem. Which is obviously his individual choice. But it's worth asking what exactly we're celebrating when we celebrate Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep Spence as English. Am I being unfair? Were other (not Muslim) players not singing it either? Perhaps he just finds singing embarrassing?

@JamesMelville By the way your not a good person if you publically insult someone simply because they aren't very good at football. Do better

Starmer playing football. The game passes him by. He’s probably one of those shite, talentless footballers who can only contribute by barking orders and taking all the throw ins…because it’s the only way they become visible during a game.

The civil service is so massive, pensions alone are now costing the taxpayer £56 billion a year. We need to massively shrink the state. This is totally unsustainable.

This is hilarious The BBC is a fake news clown show that pumps out lies, edits clips, brainwashes kids with fake history and imposes its warped liberal world viewpoint on viewers who are fleeced of a licence fee. Then they knock the doors of grannies who refuse to fund their propaganda and threaten to jail others. Defund the entire thing. It’s rotten to the core. Let it stand on its own two feet and see how it survives in the competitive marketplace. A racket of deceit.
Andrew Chapados@AndrewSaysTV

The BBC 'obviously' made a character based on my friend Lewis Brackpool - the show condemns the character as an extremist banned from 4Chan who makes dares to make Freedom of Information request. Here's Lewis on the left and the character on the right. And a link to Lewis' FOI work, as recently as Nov: x.com/Lewis_Brackpoo…

We call on King Charles III to do the right thing and refuse to sign the extremist full-term abortion bill into law. Only 1% of the public support it. This is a chance for the monarchy to show they stand with the British people against radicals. @RoyalFamily

@NatalieFleetMP It's never going away until it's been conclusively been shown it's a benefit. At the moment people say zero benefits almost and hence why the debate never goes away. Stop being a coward and say your opinion

While London may want to rejoin, areas like mine that voted 70% to leave definitely do not. In an increasingly divided world, the last thing we need is to divide the country all over again by restarting this debate.

Most senior Labour figure yet to openly call for party to put rejoining EU in next election manifesto. Will others now follow? (Very few even say this privately - but it’s a long time until the next election)…

Honestly, this is what question time SHOULD be like. 1 from each of the major 5 parties on the panel every time. If they do want a journalist or expert, they should pull up a 6th chair instead, or do a rotation so every party gets to be in the show 4 weeks out of 5
BBC Question Time@bbcquestiontime

Tomorrow, Question Time is in Croydon Joining Fiona on the panel are Wes Streeting, Helen Whately, Josh Babarinde, Caroline Lucas, and James Orr Join #bbcqt at 9pm on @BBCiPlayer and @BBCSounds, 10.40pm @BBCOne Apply to be in the audience: eu.castitreach.com/ag/mentorn/que…

@OMacMan @ArchRose90 You do know that they deliberately lie by ommission and commission don't you? Surely you know that, and yet you carry on paying them for the privilege. How does that make you feel? I know how it makes you appear.

@Rangersnomore @ArchRose90 There is no such thing as impossible to be perfect on neutrality. However their is no doubt they are the most trusted news organisation in the world and they are the best at it. What other organisation reports on the bad things it has done?

@OMacMan @ArchRose90 #BBC is funded on the basis that it is a public interest broadcaster and that it remains neutral. It isn't and it doesn't. Whataboutery won't change the fact that they don't care about the charter, only the right to produce their propaganda and to extract the fee from everyone.
