I am hopeful BlueSky can really take off from here. I’m already seeing a lot more accounts over there covering an array of interests who are just tired of the far right propaganda that gets splattered all over peoples timelines on here

This platform is sinking and rumour has it it will soon merge with Truth Social owned by Donald Trump. Even if that doesn’t happen X is now on the payroll of the incoming President so it’s now officially a state mouthpiece.

@Shayan86 I agree but the algorithm on this site has made it a near echo chamber and certainly promotes the most horrible of things and opinions which of course lead to riots on UK streets. It is now also an arm of the next American Govt. Perhaps BBC people should come over to Bluesky

The last thing the world needs right now is for X to turn into a right-wing echo chamber, and for platforms like Threads and Bluesky to become echo chambers for liberals. Social media needs more differing political views and more open conversations by opposing sides, not less.
