Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is set for a tenth week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, aiming for another increase in points, per early forecasts.
Leading all other songs by ~115 points.
@talkofthecharts That would be something if Ella replaces herself at #1 sometime this summer. BH is literally experiencing a massive surge in radioplay which is why it has surpassed 200 points for the first time!
@CraigCrisostom1@Uncrewed That's the part that's blowing my mind! Republicans not being able to flip a single Democratic-held legislative seat anywhere in the country in a special election in the first 16 months of Trump's 2nd term means the GOP is in bigger trouble now than in 2018.
@Uncrewed And once again, the GOP has failed to flip a SINGLE state legislative seat in a special during Trump 2.0, indicating a fundamental turnout problem with their coalition in non-presidential elections.
For context, the GOP was able to flip seats in specials during Trump 1.0.
Yeah, Chedrick Greene is easily outrunning Governor Whitmer in precincts reported so far (and she won this district by 13 points), the Dems are going to retain Michigan's #SD35 easily.
@talkofthecharts "Choosin' Texas" is soon going to become the 49th song in Hot 100 history to spend 10+ weeks at the #1 spot. This song is just a monster hit at this point!
Olivia Rodrigo’s “drop dead” is predicted to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with nearly 350 chart points.
It will be Olivia’s 4th #1 single; her 3rd consecutive lead single to debut atop the chart.
@talkofthecharts@oliviarodrigo I remember when she temporarily unseated Morgan Wallen back in 2023 with "Vampire". That song had 310 points when it debuted at #1.
@talkofthecharts@ellalangleymsic This will be the first time this year that the #1 song stayed on top for 3 consecutive weeks. "The Fate of Ophelia" was the most recent song to spend 3+ consecutive weeks at #1.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is set for a seventh week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, expected to lead all other songs by 100+ points following ‘Dandelion’ release.
@talkofthecharts Since "Man I Need" was unable to go #1 because of Bruno Mars and Ella Langley, this song would be her 2nd try for her first #1 on the Hot 100 if it continues growing in radioplay and stays stable on streaming.
Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” is aiming for a new peak inside the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, per early forecasts.
It would mark her second career top 5 hit.
@talkofthecharts I think once Ella's new album releases next Friday, the chart points for "Choosin' Texas" will surpass 300 and "Be Her" will skyrocket into the top 10 for the week ending April 25.
@ChartPredicts The main reason this song is rising towards the top 5 is because its gaining massively in radioplay. It unfortunately will have to gain another 100 points over the next several weeks in order for it to become Olivia's first #1 song in America.
Olivia Dean's "So Easy (To Fall In Love)" is currently challenging for a new peak in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 as the new tracking week begins.

BTS’ “Swim” is predicted to comfortably debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 300+ chart points following consumption growth throughout the week.
Expected to have the biggest U.S. debut for any single in 2026 by chart points.
@talkofthecharts BTS is now only 7 points behind Ella for that #1 spot on the Hot 100. They haven't had a #1 song on the chart as a group since October 2021 with their feature on Coldplay's "My Universe".
@anangelcriied_@talkofthecharts@lippredicts Olivia has another song in the top 10 now called "So Easy (To Fall in Love)" which in my opinion is even better than "Man I Need".
