I lived in the Seattle area and remember listening to Medved many years ago. He was always an apologist for Lanny Davis and his close association with Hillary. That told me everything I needed to know about him. Found out years later, after I moved to Texas, that Medved and his wife, had a severe case of TDS. I wasn’t surprised at all. If he’s still on the air, his audience has likely disappeared.

The most expensive game I ever played? Gauntlet, easily. Let me tell you why... In 1985, the arcade version of Gauntlet was released. There was an arcade mall about 10 kilometers from where I lived, so my friend and I would ride our bikes there nearly every weekend for about a year. One game credit cost 50 Pfennig (roughly $0.25), and we’d each spend around 10 Deutsche Mark per weekend, totaling about 500 Deutsche Mark ( roughly $250) over that year. If I’d invested that money in Apple stock instead, I’d have around $900,000 today, accounting for stock splits and price growth. So yeah, Gauntlet was the most expensive game of my life.
