@OOoceanX I can agree to that. I would love to see Viola in a comedy similar to like a girls trip. Her, Monique, Halle Berry, Regina king. I’d watch that.

Her roles are still serious to semi serious . Even in madea goes to jail she wasn’t funny or doing comedic acting , She was a caseworker. The thing I mean by her range is are we watching Viola do comedic acting , be the love interest in a romance, I’ll give her action “the woman king” & “G20”. Her being IN the movie imo isn’t range when you’re acting can be placed similar or the same across the board. We always see viola as hard or in distress or serious.

@OOoceanX Viola has done all those same genres: Widows/ Knight and Day/ Suicide Squad- Action Disturbia/ Law Abiding Citizen- Thriller Eat, Pray, Love- Romance Medea goes to Jail- Comedy Beautiful Creatures- Sci-fi I’ll admit Taraji has played more love interests than Viola.
