As a member of the @IAFC Communications Committee, having worked with @DHSgov on #NG911 framework, co-chaired #CALFRN, & been a Governor’s appointee to the CA State 911 Advisory board - it can’t be stated any clearer: America’s lifeline (911) needs full bi-partisan support. ☎️

Lawmakers passed a $2.2T bill that calls for $500M for #NG911 deployments. Still, the legislation is expected to face challenges in the #Senate, and a coalition of public-safety associations described the NG911 funding level as “woefully inadequate.” bit.ly/30JMCZY
