Secularism isn’t what’s driving people away from Christianity. What’s driving people away from Christianity are those who claim to follow Jesus, but completely ignore his teachings and use his name instead to amass wealth and political power.

We must reckon with the fact that a significant number of Americans won’t pay for hungry kids to get lunch or sick kids to get healthcare, but they will pay $500,000 to a white woman for calling a 5-year-old Black kid the n-word. We also must reckon with the fact that the vast majority of these people identify as Christian.

“I was hungry” and you cut $1 Billion in funding to schools and food banks. “I was sick” and you worked to gut medicaid, depriving me of healthcare. “I was a stranger” and you defined my humanity by legal status. “What ever you do to the least of these, you do unto me.”-Jesus

Say what you want about Biden, he’s not out there claiming he actually won the election and sending a mob to the US Capitol to “fight like Hell” or they won’t have a country anymore. Republicans rightly condemned Trump on this day in 2021. He was unfit then. He is unfit now.

If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage. The right-wing agenda isn’t about “life.” It’s about control.

One of the greatest deceptions of our time is the lie that we should be more concerned about a poor person misusing the welfare system or an immigrant crossing illegally than we are about bullies with unprecedented wealth and power.

Elections have consequences. The Supreme Court will be changed for a generation. I’ll never see a moderate court again in my lifetime. Alito and Thomas will step down and Trump will appoint 40 year old partisans to the bench. The damage he is about to inflict on our institutions the next 2 years will be irreparable.

This didn't used to happen until Trump tried to overthrow the government on January 6, 2021 and have his own Vice President hanged.

Whether it’s liberal observers describing Trump’s Madison Square Garden campaign event as a Nazi rally or conservative attendees of the same event describing it as a Nazi rally, both sides agree that the event was a Nazi rally.
