This is completely backward logic. Buckeye fans will ALWAYS show up for basketball if you put a good product out. Asking them to spend precious time and hard earned money on mediocrity will never sell well.

It’s hard for Ohio State to justify increasing basketball spending when nobody is showing up to games or buying in to the program. It’s absolutely the fans fault why the team has underachieved for years.

I remember watching Jon Scheyer play in high school in Illinois. Best high school basketball player I ever saw play live

These are not comparable situations. What Scheyer is doing at Duke is nowhere near as impressive as what Brad Stevens did at Butler. Both fantastic coaches tho.
