@allencognitive Thanks very much for this., and it looks great. Can this only be used if assessing someone in person? I'm also looking for tools which can be used by therapists purely online.

@OT_Expert The Allen Battery has good predictive validity: ACLS-5.2, Allen Diagnostic Module, the Routine Task Inventory & the Cognitive Performance Test all yield an Allen level score that indicates level of independence, supervision & set up required for safety & client satisfaction

@OT_Expert You're welcome! It's probably my favourite MOHO based assessment (just edging out the OCAIRS).

@OT_Expert I genuinely don't know if it has been studied for use with Long COVID but the Occupational Self-Assessment is always useful for looking at how a person feels they've been impacted, what areas are important to them and setting goals.

What are some of the best resources out there, to help us healthcare professionals write supporting letters/reports for PIP applications?

@JCeoltaSmith @OT_Expert @advicelocal 2/2 to that action e.g. cooking a meal involves finding a recipe, buying ingredients, chopping veggies & cooking a meal before you even consider eating it. For some people this would be far too much and they would be unable to cut it up into manageable pieces. I hope this helps?

@JCeoltaSmith @OT_Expert @advicelocal I would include people’s inability to repeatedly, reliably and safely repeat tasks, even minimal cognitive or physical activities. Reading, speaking on the phone can make people relapse quickly. In tasks it is not just the action that can affect them but the steps to get 1/2
