At what point does one realize that a particular calling is not for him? We had a young man who joined a missionary society to train as a priest. He was asked to leave after a few years and he joined a diocese. He grew up in a different environment and the superiors were not used to the sort of confidence and audacity he displayed. He was asked to leave. He relocated briefly to a Central African country and finally to the USA and joined the seminary there. When the authorities wanted to change his visa to student visa he refused. He was asked to leave. Now, it’s very rare to be asked to leave from the seminary in the USA. At some point I reached out to him said, “Guy, be like this thing is not for you. Look for a woman and marry.” Well, today, he has a child and a woman and is doing well for himself. I wonder when Alhaji will realize that this thing is not for him.
