You absolutely can prove negatives. Here's a rule of inference for doing just that: (1) If p, then q. (2) ~q C. Therefore ~p.
Thoughtful-Faith@ThoughtfulSaint

@blatant_sock You can’t prove a negative. You can only disprove it by providing evidence. If the claim is: “The evidence presented so far is insufficient,” then the other person is the one who must provide sufficient evidence to overturn that assessment.

@OUnderfolder Incorrect. It also happens if you are prevented from using your bodily autonomy to choose abortion if you do not want to be pregnant.

If God knows everything past, present and future, He is all-knowing. If God knows the future, He cannot change it, therefore He is not all-powerful. If God knows the future, we do not have free will. We cannot be punished for our choices if they are not in fact choices.

@marxseventh @PatrickC1995 you have your opinion. that's fine. the path is pretty clear. A machine creates value. That value should be granted to the machine. Since the machine doesn't exist as an entity, the owner of that machine gets the value generated

If workers expect to be paid more when their company makes a profit, are they willing to be paid less when the company takes a loss?

@sentinel_actual @esjesjesj Also, Christianity is literally the most popular religion, with no evidence. They aren't persecuted, despite Christian victim fetishes. Religion and gender are Social constructs. Humanity isn't always about being maximally accurate.

I find that much anti-communist sentiment boils down to the belief that people are lazy and won’t do good or work hard unless they are suffering. I believe the opposite: I think most people would do amazing things if they weren’t in dire straits constantly.

@marxseventh @PatrickC1995 fairness would be that the element that generates the value is given that value. Why is it fair that the worker get access to value they didn't create?
