Lemme tell you, I did not take this encouragement lightly....at some point, you should get ready for Mechanized Body [title pending] the card-based mech tabletop role-playing game.

Legit, I want to make a card-based mech TTRPG that lets you pick/unlock frames, targeting system, booster, weapons and systems represented as cards. sum'n similar for pilots. It would come off as a structured board game like Gloomhaven or Earthborn Rangers but play like a ttrpg.

I've always loved the story behind this -- basically, during WWII, US air force statisticians collated data on where returning bombers had been damaged by enemy fire. This represented where planes would typically get hit. By reinforcing those spots, many lives were saved.

@WhatTheADHD Success in the long run is going to take a lot of work. Help build up a good work ethic that works for him early, even if it feels a little redundant. Or give him extra challenges to supplement.

My son is 7. It's likely he has ADHD and it's VERY likely that he's gifted — intellectually, creatively, & emotionally.
