@GerryDales @BigBlueUnited i am not willing to die on drafting Love hill.. drafting Downs or Styles is no sure thing either. could be next Isaiah Simmons. IMO if you want to help Dart develop, cant have enough weapons. have to take the best player on the board regardless of position not draft for need.

If you are taking Love because you think he is generational, you aren't taking him to be a part time player. If you are taking him to be a part time player, then it magnifies why it's a luxury pick when we have glaring other needs. Our RB1 (Skatt until injured, Ty after) netted roughly 1600 scrimmage yards and 11 total TDs. Saquon's rookie year was 2000 and 15. I want more from our 5th pick overall than a net improvement from our starting RB of 400 yards and 4 TD. And that's if Love would match Saquon's awesome rookie year.

If John Harbaugh really wants Jeremiyah Love 5th Overall, I am curious if he offers Tyrone Tracy on Draft Day to the Titans for a Day 3 pick to fill their need at RB and select someone else 4th Overall.

@BigBlueUnited @GerryDales love & skat are 2 different types of RB. Would be elite tandem,would keep each other fresh. Dart can develop his game & not be forced to play "hero" QB. elite run game, getting nabers back & darts run threat. that is an offense to sell fans.

Thought more about the idea of trading for Brian Thomas Jr. If the Giants make this move & it “works”, the Giants will have to pay BTJ along with Dart & Nabers in a few yrs. That’s my biggest issue with trading a high 2nd Rd Pick for him. Hard to pay big $$ to 2 WRs and win.

@RalphVacchiano @BobbySkinner_ you can't rely on 4-5 total top end guys and say "he acquired talent". malik nabers and skat are difference makers, but the depth behind those positions and basically all others is non-existent. that is on schoen not finding guys who can compete. he cant even get kickers right.

@BobbySkinner_ If you believe it’s a lack of talent, and not bad coaching, then the GM should be fired. The same if you’re not optimistic about the future of this team. I think that once the Giants are healthy there’s enough talent to be optimistic about next year. The pieces are there.

For weeks, the Giants have lost every game resulting in 2-11 following a 3-14 season So why fire the guy that built that?

@TheDougRush how would a flacco or russ signing paired with a trade for joe milton, then taking BPA at #3, or if a trade back 2-3 spots is an option (if they love mason graham) be perceived.

The Giants were on Russ’ trade preference list several times, including the one before he got dealt to the Broncos. And Russ also made the visit to the Giants last year, but they only offered him the backup role behind Daniel Jones and he passed. We’ll see what happens this year.
