Someone modded SimCity4 to be (sort of) 3D. Amazing how much EA screwed the franchise so we are still playing a 22 year old game and constantly modding it.

@SCSsoftware Brilliant! Some impressive highway infrastructure in NL and BE which will hopefully now be represented. Will there be more of a gap between Rotterdam and Amsterdam? It feels a bit too quick to travel between the two right now.

@BeeNetwork good to travel around GM yesterday but one observation; could the kerbside bus info include the JT to Metrolink stops? Things still felt silo-ed rather than cohesive… “why would a bus user want to switch midway to a tram?” kind of vibe!

@iamkosmonaut Ah so the new lanterns try to follow the design of the originals? I think many relent the loss of the orange glow; the sodium lanterns used to be popular in the UK but the LED wave has reduced them too. Still a few around…for now!

Not a great photo, but there is a massive difference between the old dark orange glow and the new bright white light 🙁 really not a fan of it

@BiddyBike @createstreets Antwerp have been doing something very similar; I’d recommend there too! I didn’t see it myself but on streetview I found they’d even created a basketball ground from reclaimed space at Duvelsplein.
