I am sure you didn't know this.
But there is a Real Madrid legend who used to travel everywhere with two suitcases. One had his clothes, the other had his own food because he refused to eat what his teammates ate. His teammates called him Lettuce.
He played for both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. So did his father-in-law. He was Marcos Llorente's father. His son, Marcos played for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid too. He grew up to wear red glasses at night and co-own a light therapy company. The apple did not fall far from the tree.
Marcos Llorente is one of the most interesting human beings in professional football right now, and that is not because of what he does on the pitch, but because of the philosophy he lives by off it, and that philosophy did not start with him, it started with his father Paco Llorente.
Paco is a former Real Madrid winger who was so serious about nutrition and natural living that former Real Madrid goalkeeper Paco Buyo described him as a maniac of alimentation who carried his own food everywhere he went, later wrote a book on nutrition, and was nicknamed Lettuce by teammates who thought he had taken things too far.
Marcos grew up inside that world, and when he speaks about artificial light, blue light exposure and the way modern life is pulling people away from what is natural, he is not repeating something he read on a wellness blog, he is articulating a worldview that was modelled for him from childhood by a father who lived it completely.
His argument about blue light is actually rooted in genuine science and he explains it in a way that is very difficult to argue with, because he points out that the artificial light in most homes has a very high blue peak that simulates midday sunlight, and when your brain receives that signal at night it simply does not know that you intend to go to sleep, because the body does not respond to intention, it responds to light, and if the light says midday then the body believes it is midday regardless of what time your alarm is set for.
He wears red glasses at night specifically to filter that blue peak out, and when he turns up to interviews wearing them under studio lighting he is not making a fashion statement, he is being completely consistent with everything he believes, pointing out that the artificial light aimed at him during the recording is exactly the kind of exposure he is trying to protect himself from.
Marcos has also co-founded Aureo Lifestyle, a company specialising in photobiomodulation, which is a form of light therapy that uses specific wavelengths of light to promote healing and recovery, and that business is not a vanity project or a celebrity wellness brand, it is the commercial extension of a philosophy that his family has been living for decades.
He publicly posted a photo of his 59 year old father and called it his scientific evidence, pointing to Paco's physical condition as proof that the lifestyle produces real long term results, and he has said that when his playing career ends he will take care of himself as much or more than he does now, which tells you that this was never about football for him.
It was always just about life.
I hope you learned something today.

🗣️ "I like Summerville. He is brilliant in one v ones; he looks hungry. In a team that has struggled, he has been a shining light and gotten better as the season has gone on."

Liverpool are sure to have eyes on the home-grown market this summer.
The Reds current updated home-grown list;
• Owen Beck
• Conor Bradley
• Jeremie Frimpong
• Joe Gomez
• Rhys Williams
• Curtis Jones
• Freddie Woodman
There’s only 1/2 you can confidently say will be wearing the strip next season. A few youth players can step up to fill the positions however, it still will not be enough.

Most men are gay. They're literally gay. Because they don't really like us women. Our natural bodies, they think it's gross. Our interests, they think it's cringe. Spending time with us, they think it's like a responsibility. And if a guy has a girlfriend, and instead of date night with her, he genuinely wants to be with the boys, and he feels it's a punishment that he can't spend time with his boys, he doesn't really like her. So I genuinely think most men are gay but they haven't figured it out because being gay is like also too feminine for them and they don't like feminine things.

You’ve never touched anything in your life. Not your phone. Not your morning coffee. Not the person you love.
Every atom in your body is 99.9999999999999% empty space. If the core of an atom were the size of a marble, the nearest electron would be all the way out in the parking lot of a football stadium. Everything in between is empty.
We’ve known this since 1911. A physicist named Ernest Rutherford fired tiny particles at a sheet of gold foil expecting them all to pass right through. Most did. But about 1 in 8,000 bounced straight back at him. He said it was like firing a cannon at tissue paper and having the shell come back and hit you. That one result proved every atom is almost entirely void, with all its weight crammed into a core 100,000 times smaller than the atom itself.
So when you sit in a chair, you’re not actually sitting on it. The electrons in your body are pushing against the electrons in the chair. Same force that makes two magnets resist each other when you flip one around. You’re floating above the surface, separated by a gap about 10,000 times thinner than a sheet of paper. Every handshake is two invisible clouds of electrons pressing against each other without ever merging.
Remove all that empty space from every atom in every human on Earth, and 8 billion people compress down to a single sugar cube. It would weigh billions of tons and fall straight through the floor, through the crust, all the way to the center of the Earth. Same density as a neutron star.
But the tweet gets one thing a little wrong. Whether atoms “touch” depends on how you define touch. Philip Moriarty, a physicist at the University of Nottingham who literally pushes individual atoms around with a needle for a living, says contact does happen at the atomic level. It’s the point where the pull between atoms balances the push. And when you eat food, your body breaks those molecules apart and chemically bonds with them, atoms merging across boundaries. That’s real contact.
So what you feel when you hold someone’s hand isn’t skin on skin. It’s the same force that holds together every molecule in every star, pressing your electrons against theirs. You’ve never made contact the way your brain pictures it. What’s actually happening is stranger and honestly way cooler.

It’s clear what’s happened in the Salah exit now.
They tried to force him out in Jan to get the wages off the books so they could afford Guehi & Semenyo (2 players they badly needed) he got wind of it & said no while fighting back in the press because they tried to get rid of him in the press with Carragher as their hatchet man.
They want to get his wages off the books in the Summer for a Saudi fee but he’s refused to sign anywhere & threatened to sit his contract out in that final year.
They are so desperate to get his wages off the books with the possibility of no CL Football next year that they agreed to tear up his contract so he can chose where he wants to go in the Summer & coin it in as a free agent, hisv Van Djik, Wirtz & Isak’s wages are why they were so hamstrung in that Jan window.
Liverpool miss out on a fee but save on the wages, Salah isn’t forced to a club who can afford the fee, he gets to pick the club he wants and get paid for it as a free.
Salah won them the league and deserved that contract but they overplayed their hand in Jan & saw the nasty side of Mo.
They now have to find over 100m to replace him, they need to get into the CL or they will find that difficult for financial reasons and attracting quality reasons.
Salah played a blinder, Liverpool lost again, add it to the 10 league defeats this year.

@LFC_Sam__ Not a winger and not enough pace. He's wouldn't start in this team
English

@Watch_LFC He's not good enough. He's not a winger. If he's up against someone with a bit of pace he has one trick and that's about it.

Traveling is for peasants
Why would u want to travel so badly when u can make ur home the ultimate place in the world?
U can have tennis, basketball, spa, gym, martial arts area, big green grass field to run, better showers, better furniture, better taste
Than 99.9% of the hotels or places you vacation to
If you’re like me and you enjoy being at home
Fuck what everyone says
Mission #1 is make a masterpiece home where you never have to leave, and if you do leave…
you always want to come back badly bc ur home is better than any other place
People wanna blow their money on cars and tryna look cool to everyone outside of their house
Not enough people talk about how having a MASTERPIECE crib > than 99% of shit u could ever spend money on
Lot of rich ppl that have trash finishes and trash designed homes…
I’d rather have a 5M masterpiece home and $100k cash
Than $5M in stocks and a shit home
If you’re the latter, you’re gay as fuck
Not the first time I rant about this, and it won’t be the last
Let’s work towards making our own masterpieces brozinkerbells

Watch how Air Canada Collided With a Fire Truck at LaGuardia
Sunday night, March 22, 2026. LaGuardia Airport is already stretched thin. A United Airlines flight has aborted its takeoff after an anti-ice warning light comes on, flight attendants in the back are feeling ill from an unknown odor, and the crew declares an emergency when no gates are immediately available. A Port Authority fire truck, Truck 1, is dispatched to respond.
At the same time, Air Canada Express Flight 8646, a Jazz Aviation Bombardier CRJ-900 operating from Montreal Trudeau International Airport, is on final approach to Runway 4. The lone controller on duty, simultaneously managing both ground and tower operations, clears Truck 1 to cross the runway. Seconds later, as Flight 8646 is landing at between 93 and 105 miles per hour, he realises his mistake. He calls for the truck to stop. Over and over. It is too late.
The CRJ-900 strikes the fire truck on Runway 4. The impact destroys the cockpit and tears open the front fuselage. Both pilots are killed. A Delta flight on approach is sent around. Jazz 646 comes to rest on the runway, its nose elevated, its cockpit gone. LaGuardia closes entirely. 72 passengers and four crew members were on board. 41 people are taken to hospital.
The fire truck had been sent to help one emergency. It became another.
