I’ve seen a number of takes flying around, especially from some big accounts, suggesting that I intentionally created a situation just to drag someone or farm engagement. Let me say this clearly, that was never the intention. When Victor Osimhen replied to me, I understood what that moment could become. I’ve been on X for over 5 years, and like many people on this platform, I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like that, one that could finally help grow my page. So yes, I had a plan. To bring the giveaway to my timeline, ask people who were interested to follow, like, and comment, and then pick winners from there. Nothing unusual. In fact, it’s the same strategy many of the big accounts use every day. When I was contacted, I explained clearly one phone that this opportunity meant something to me, that I wanted to use it to grow my account and engage my audience. But instead of understanding that, I was met with resistance. At that point, I had two options, step aside or stand my ground. I chose to stand my ground. Since yesterday, I’ve also seen some of these same big accounts resort to calling me names and throwing insults. Interestingly, the moment I return that same energy, I get blocked. That says a lot. What followed was simply me standing my ground when I felt that opportunity was being taken away from me. If people supported me, it was not because I manipulated them, but because they saw a situation and chose what to stand for. Now, to those implying I did this for clout or monetization, let’s not pretend. The same way I wanted to grow my page is the same way many big accounts have built theirs. Visibility. Engagement. Influence. These things don’t happen by accident, they are pursued. The only difference is that some people are more comfortable admitting it than others. I did not manufacture this opportunity, but I refused to let it slip away. And I stand by that. Thank you. SAMBO

I don’t like doing this, but I’ve always heard about big accounts gatekeeping, and today, I experienced it firsthand. Earlier today, I shoot my shot at @victorosimhen9 by tagging him purely out of admiration for how he represents the Nigerian flag. I asked him for a Galatasaray jersey and pitched @abazwhyllzz as the vendor, as one of the big and reputable accounts selling jerseys here ❤️ He responded and promised me a signed Champions League jersey 🙏🔥. He also said he will get 15 additional jerseys from Abazz for me to share. Now here’s where things got interesting. I reached out to Abazz via DM and, to my surprise, he said he had already selected winners on his page, which was obviously not true. I asked why he would do that when he was meant to be the vendor. I then messaged @Thetifefab, who told me to discuss with Abazz and he handled the payment for the jerseys (Abazz confirmed receiving payment for the 15 jerseys). Upon receiving the money for the jerseys, Abazz asked that we move the conversation to WhatsApp, and I assumed it was to discuss delivery. Instead, Abazz called me and kept on insisting he will be the one to share the jerseys, which I didn’t agree to. After further discussion, he proposed a split, he takes 8, I take 7. I declined and ended the call. He kept calling, but I insisted we continue via chat instead. I reiterated that I was the one who tagged Osimhen, he responded to my tweet, and Abazz only came into the picture because I tagged him as the vendor, and he has already been paid for the jerseys. Attached to this tweet is evidence of our conversations via X DMs and WhatsApp. I’m not here to cause drama, just asking for transparency and fairness, not only for myself but for everyone who participated in good faith 💯 Let’s do right by the people who showed up for this 🙌🔥

Remember this young girl Ochanya 🥹 who endured years of abuse and unimaginable harm by @Winifunds Dad and brother, which led to a painful condition called vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) that ultimately resulted in her de@th. Her abusers remain at large, walking free in the world. #justiceforOchanya

As the solicitor to the family of the late Ochanya, @InibeheEffiong wsd hesitant and very cautious about making public statements regarding this tragic case. However, people have been tagging and reaching out to me for clarifications. @Winifunds has very serious questions to answer regarding what she knows about the circumstances of the death of Miss Ochanya. Here he attached certified excerpts from the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Makurdi, delivered on 28th April, 2022 in the charge filed by NAPTIP against Mrs. Felicia Ogbuja (Winifred’s mother). Mrs Felicia was convicted and sentenced to five months imprisonment for failing to protect the late Ochanya who was under her care. If you read page 14 of the judgement, you will see that Winifred’s name came up in the course of the proceedings. A witness testified under oath that Winifred caught her brother (Victor Ogbuja), who is still on the run, and reported to their father, Mr. Andrew Ogbuja. Based on what I know, @Winifunds refused or failed to cooperate with the investigators. She failed to make a statement regarding her role in the case. Efforts by investigators to get to her proved abortive. If she had cooperated, it would have likely had a profound impact on the quest for justice for Ochanya. That is all that I can say at this time.
