This afternoon, I received the Enugu Polling Booths Vanguard for Atiku, a group chiefly concerned with the sanctity of the ballots, led by Chief Obodoeze Ocho. They believe that every vote must count in 2027. I fully agree with them that protecting votes at the Polling Units level is vital for the coming elections. I told them that, for us to have credible elections that earn voters' trust, citizens must take the responsibility of safeguarding votes seriously. Votes will count if they are protected by those who cast them. -AA

@KingArthurOG This is a senseless comparison. Atiku is older than Obi both in politics and age, even Obi regards him so and that's why he's visited him by others. It's called RESPECT, but that doesn't make Atiku more competent for leadership than Obi who prefers visiting people instead.

Ordinarily, Nigeria would be dealing with fuel queues at a time like this. India, Peter Obi’s Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, and Pakistan are some of the countries currently facing long queues due to the current perturbations in the ME. There’s a reason Nigeria isn’t suffering what it suffers even at times when there are no such geopolitical perturbations. And no, the reason isn’t because Nigeria is an oil country. (I must assume) You aren’t stupid. Nigeria was always an oil country when fuel queues were the norm.

Everything that the Tinubu Campaign machinery is doing is targeted primarily at Peter Obi. Like I said, Tinubu has a morbid fear of Obi and would rather that he doesn't contest at all than stand against him. Has it occurred to you that the whole idea of the City Boy movement is the SE crowd? In their heads, these are potential donors to the Obi Campaign fund and what better way to capture them before that crystallizes? Dear ADC. I have to be blunt here, ADC should be a party of inclusivity and should not be hijacked by particular set of people if you really want to seen serious. The party's ticket should be very inclusive in all Cosmopolitan areas, a typical example where this failed is Amac, the ticket have an Idoma man as candidate and an igbo lady as vice in a very cosmopolitan city like Abuja without a Muslim or an indigenous person on the ticket. You may claim to be secular but the reality on ground is such parochialism is very important especially at certain locations, if you do that say in Kano or Enugu no problem but not mixed location like Abuja. Hope such mistakes will not repeat itself, as lessons are learned now
