Today we trialled a @Iskushealth drape for an elective caesarean section. The baby is passed through an aperture in the drape for immediate skin to skin contact with the mother. Excellent feedback received by patients @EliMedd @UHP_NHS @PtExpUHP @helen_harling1 @mariannerowntr1

@ObsGynaeUHP My comment was in jest. I’d be very supportive of this. As long as dried, hat on, warm environment, and no ‘wind chill’ as is common in theatres… presumably there’ll be some sort of audit following implementation of things like baby’s temp, etc.
