Since July 2024, post hike in capital gain tax and STT, we have lost $100 Bn and our markets have become globally unattractive .we need patient risk capital to fund our growth story. It’s undoing the good work done through various reforms. A responsive govt like yours has always taken feedback on taxation - GST, Income tax and given relief. I urge you to reconsider.

On the topic of the upcoming aircraft carrier, the board of Elecon Engineering mentioned a few quarters ago during a conference call that a new aircraft carrier is definitely in the pipeline. They likely have this information, as they were the ones who built the gearbox for INS Vikrant.

Report indicates that GoI is planning to place orders for the Navy to get 31 additional Naval Rafales . It means: * MiG29M should be retiring by 2035 * So Navy should be getting at least one more aircraft carrier of Vikrant type ( may be a bit bigger ). * The Naval TEDBF is unlikey to be in service by 2035 to replace MiG29s .They will likely be ready for the nuclear powered Carrier . * Meanwhile Vikramaditya may get Naval Tejas Mk1A as replacement for Mig29K .
