Literally doesn’t exist, and it changes the film by way of existing. And it’s easy to say that you wouldn’t do some cursed wish because all the OWW is a plot point in a fictional movie you are soapboxing about on Twitter.

Gonna QRT this cuz I got in a lot of arguments yesterday. Idk how people don’t understand me, but I’m gonna try and articulate this again. And I don’t mean this as judgment or persuasion towards people seeing their own relationships with men in the film.

YES! The movie would be uninteresting if all it had going for it was “Bear is the real villain.” Yeah, he sucks, but what makes "Obsession" magnificent is how Bear is not the source of the problem. The source is the repression of emotional truth and fear of vulnerability.

“Obsession” perfectly illustrated that the patriarchy teaching men to repress their feelings and not be vulnerable, and resort to control over genuine love, imprisons them to a life of loveless misery. 10/10

But yea. Also people discursively saying it’s his cursed wish that manifests the entity; I see the vision but I still don’t fully buy it, the notion of this rogue agent abusing them both gives the film layers, and sets up “she’s sleeping, please don’t wake her” so well.

I wish there was no sex in Obsession, because the way people are approaching the discourse with them makes everything worse. “What’s so bad about being with me?” Should be this final, irredeemable, heart-dropping, infuriating gut punch. Bear should clearly be judged up until now-

love how in the dead meat interview curry barker made sure to shout out how a lot of the female crew members are a reason for the movie being so good. and how he makes sure his sets are as collaborative as possible instead of going for a 'my way or the highway' route

Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Velasquez, 18, live-streamed their attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego yesterday. New photos were obtained via the California Post. Additionally, a small clip of the livestream circulated which showed Cain Clark fatally shooting himself. (Which is from the 3rd screenshot) Both attackers shot and killed 3 people before killing themselves.
