Digital infrastructure is now public infrastructure; we just haven’t started treating it that way. When roads or power grids fail, we fix them collectively. If the internet is going to be the foundation of global society, the systems beneath it must be: open, verifiable, resistant to unilateral control, and most of all, accountable to the people who rely on them. Never before has a government classified a decentralized network as a “strategic enterprise.” OASES — the same program that includes global giants like ARM, GSK, and Xiaohongshu — now lists Polkadot among them. 2️⃣ Mainstream acceptance. This marks blockchain’s formal entry into national-level tech and fintech development strategies — not just symbolic approval, but institutional inclusion. 3️⃣ A seat at the policy table. Polkadot will now have direct dialogue with government bodies shaping fintech, digital assets, and Web3 frameworks — becoming a participant in regulation design, not merely a subject of it. 4️⃣ DAO × Government = historic first. Through an on-chain governance proposal, the Polkadot Community Foundation (PCF) established a Hong Kong entity to legally represent the DAO and sign the partnership — a rare and groundbreaking moment for decentralized governance worldwide.
