Rabbi Yehuda Gilad, head of Yeshivat Ma’ale Gilboa in Israel, visited the Palestinian village of Khirbet Humsa in the West Bank following a settler pogrom in which a 29-year-old Palestinian farmer was sexually assaulted, his family was beaten, and hundreds of their sheep were stolen. This is a deeply encouraging act of solidarity. Thank you to Rabbi Yehuda Gilad.

טיל עם ראש קרב של 100 קילו נפל בין שני בניינים בתל אביב, חזיתות קרסו, מכוניות עלו באש ונזק גדול מאוד במקום. זו לא פעם ראשונה שטיל עם ראש קרב כזה פוגע. שלושה בני אדם נפצעו קל . לפי פיקוד העורף במקום מקלטים ומי שהיו בהם לא נפגעו

Several ambulances belonging to the Jewish volunteer emergency service Hatzolah were deliberately set alight overnight outside a synagogue in Golders Green, a predominantly Jewish area of London. The attack was carried out by masked individuals and is being treated as an anti-Semitic incident. Hatzolah is a volunteer-run emergency medical service that provides rapid response care, often arriving faster than standard ambulances due to its locally based responders. It was founded within Jewish communities to offer culturally aware support but serves anyone in need and works alongside organisations such as the NHS.

Escena del impacto de un misil iraní en Arad, en el desierto del Negev. Son localidades de la periferia israelí, de edificios antiguos y sin apenas refugios. Pese a los duros golpes recibidos, el régimen de Teherán sigue demostrando músculo militar para golpear al enemigo.

זירת הנפילה בערד, במרכזה מכתש הפגיעה הישירה. לפי פיקוד העורף בשלושת הבניינים הישנים יש מקלט שעמד בפגיעה. ניתן אפילו לראות את קירות הבטון עומדים. שלושה בניינים נפגעו באורח קשה וקירות שלהם קרסו. חלק מהפצועים באורח קשה יותר היו ככל שמבינים גורמי הבטחון לא בתוך המקלטים ונאמר לי שחילצו פצועים מדירות. אחד הדיירים איתו שוחחתי אמר שבבניין שלו אין מקלט והוא מתקשה לרדת למקלט ציבורי עם הילדים. היום הוא עצמו לא ירד והבית נפגע מההדף. זו אחת מדירות ההרס הגדולות ביותר של המלחמה הזו והנזק ניכר למרחק. כמו בזירות הרס אחרות, טיל שפוגע בין בניינים גורם להרס רב בשל ההדף והרסיסים שעפים למרחק ופוגעים בבניינים רבים. ניתן היה לראות זאת היום גם בדימונה ובתחילת המלחמה בתל אביב ובאר שבע. בצבא מתחקרים מדוע המיירט פספס את הטיל שפגע כאן.

The official news agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary has announced that three protesters from the uprisings in early January have been executed by hanging in public in Qom, Iran. Mehdi Ghasemi Saleh Mohammadi Saeed Davoodi The three men were accused by the regime of killing police officers and carrying out “operational actions for the Zionist regime [Israel] and the hostile US government.” The three young men, like all defendants, were deprived of due process. Among the injustices they faced: 1. Reliance on coerced confessions 2. Restricted access to lawyers, especially during the investigation phase 3. Closed or rushed proceedings 4. Ignored exculpatory evidence 5. Being held without a lawyer during initial interrogation 6. Subjected to physical and psychological torture, including beatings causing hand fractures 7. The court ignored claims that confessions were obtained under torture 8. No investigation into torture allegations 9. Alibi evidence dismissed 10. Defense witnesses dismissed or not summoned 11. Extremely brief hearing 12. Denial of real access to independent lawyers 13. Lack of transparent evidence (I have only included two of their photos, as I try, as much as possible, not to publish images of imprisoned Iranians in prison uniforms.)
