The view of MM93's pit entry from a (non-MotoGP) race official: "He came in before the timing loop which technically starts pit-in/pit-out zone. No case to say unfair or dangerous riding. Opportunistic! F1 has a bollard at pit entry: if you're on wrong side you get penalised."

@stath_12 @denkmit @cruikshank_93 The image you’ve sent states that a corner cut at pit entry is defined by the white line on the INSIDE of the pitlane. He didn’t cut that so therefore he can’t be penalised for a corner cut

@Feridm46 @matoxley Ok I agree, but they didn’t so you can’t penalise one rider when 2 have already committed the infraction and got away with it

Well, according what you’ve shown, its the solid white line on the INSIDE of pitlane which can’t be cut. So actually, he didn’t gain an advantage according to what you’ve shown. Its a grey area that I agree, as a Marquez fan, should be clarified and for me in the future, cutting across the race track like Martin, Miller and MM have done should be a penalty for dangerous conduct

@OfficialLGV @denkmit Who said no? The rules are the rules and no matter who it is they should be applied consistently and equally. So yes a penalty should be applied for any such infringement

@Feridm46 @matoxley Martin and Miller ran across the same bit yesterday. How is it an different? And don’t say because Marc is on a bike because a bike or a person is equally as dangerous

@matoxley Opportunistic? I am sure if other rider had done this,he would have gotten a penalty.

@stath_12 @denkmit Ok so lets penalise Martin and Miller for running across the white line in practice and quali. Same rules apply don’t they? Because as far as I’m concerned, its equally as dangerous and they also gain an advantage as they should’ve gone the long route back to pitlane

@denkmit That doesn't answer my question, did he or did he not cross the white line on the pit entry? Crossing the line separating the track and pit entry is prohibited when entering the pit lane. Plus the advantage he had from not completing another lap on the slicks got him the win

@denkmit Miller and Martin ran across the same bit in practice and qualifying, no penalty. Is it different if they go in with the bike because in my eyes its just as dangerous

That isn't how you're supposed to enter pit lane, and it might be looked at by the stewards...

@MOTOGP791 @NeilMorrison87 MM fanboy here, might be the first but completely agree. He doesn’t know how to develop a bike because he is so radically different to all the other riders in terms of style

@NeilMorrison87 I’ve said it time and time again. MM is a legendary rider, one of the best ever but only knows how to develop a bike backwards. And everytime the MM fanboy arse clowns beat me down and attack me. Maybe they will listen to Diggia?

Diggia explaining last year Ducati’s development went in Marc’s direction. But feels he isn’t competitive when riding with that set-up & ‘I don’t have a predictable bike.’ ‘I think we should go a little back & a little in opposite direction.’

They phrase things weird but you basically have 4 grand slams, the calendar slam (all 4 in one year), career slam (all 4 at least once), golden slam (all 4 in one year plus the olympics). As long as us MGP fans recognise Marc and what he’s been through, we shouldn’t care too much for these awards. Carlos had the best year of his career and won 9/11 finals he played or something. All nominees were incredible in 2025 and all worthy winners. But like I said, the sooner we forget about these popularity contests, the better we’ll sleep :)

@Federistablue @Zwxsh Theres almost double the amount of big hard court tournaments that there are clay ones. Can’t really compare titles or records here

@Zwxsh Dificult question. Nadal have more GS on hard that Djokovic on clay, but on the other side Djoko won all the big tournaments on clay at least once while Rafa didnt won the ATP Finals and Bercy (indoor hard) and neither Miami (outdoor hard).

@Miguelcmm1 Aussie Open, youngest of the slams and feels like a post off season tune up rather than a true GS.. hot asf with so many players struggling, like Wimbledon is historic, RG is the pinnacle of clay and US Open has the best atmosphere, this comes from an Aussie too 😭
