This is basically what half of UK Twitter is right now thanks to Elon Musk. He has drowned everything else out. "I just left prison and came out to buy a coffee and had to pay £5.99. Meanwhile, immigrants are getting free food paid by the government at any five star restaurant they walk into in the UK!" That's all you have to say and the algorithm does the rest.

There is no “mass uncontrolled immigration” in the UK. There’s the result of policy choices, mostly by people with buyers remorse. Brexit created a hole in the workforce replacing temporary EU workers with permanent Global South workers. That was very much a controlled process

What's fascinating is that in his reply Starmer doesn't even try to challenge the claim Radcliffe made. The response to "mass uncontrolled immigration is bad" is not even "mass uncontrolled immigration is good", it's "yes, but you're a bad person for noticing".
