@HarmlessHQ @habszy I have tried it and I can tell you that it's far from the truth. Even at their peak period you can't pick 750 eggs daily. There are also many factors affecting their productions in up north, heat period, infection and others. Treatment for infections also affects their output.

Instead of tying that N10 million in mutual funds and be collecting N170k every month. Instead, use that money and enter into egg production. Use N6.4 million to buy 800 pieces of matured layers at N8,000 each. Use N2 million for where they'll stay. Use N1.6 million and buy feed. Without overestimation, you'll be picking at least 750 eggs every day. And as a wholesale, you can sell at N200. That'll give you N150,000 income everyday, N4.5 million a month and your capital is still in tact. Matured layers can effectively produce eggs for 18 months. That is, you'll get almost N81 million from these set of matured layers within 18 months. And when their productivity begins to decline, you sell them off at N5,000 each for meat. You'll just have to add extra N2.4 million to restock new ones. And give it two months, you're made.

@emmaikumeh Thanks to president Trump for deploying American soldiers to work with Nigeria army. The success they have been recording since their arrival is massive. I hope that this should be sustained despite American army departure after the training and intelligence sharing.

@HAHayatu @Aminu_mahuta Tinubu will continue to give import license until after election. If you can be patient to keep your maize, you will recover next year because whether he win or not, he will give no attention to inflation next year

So many farmers have moved to soybean farming this year due to lack of much demand of fertiliser. However people like me still stuck with maize though I have reduced stake . But the reality is we have not even recovered our cost last year , hope we do this year as the shift away from maize may bring demand for it, that is if they do not give import licence again.

Food Security and the Fight to Sustain It Five years into my journey as a staple crop farmer growing maize, corn, and soybeans on three hectares. I've learned that consistency is rare. Some seasons I barely break even; a few offer slim returns. After a honest review of my operations, I realized that labour was eating up the largest slice of my costs. Digging deeper, I found the same struggle echoed among fellow farmers. Determined to turn things around, I rolled out a new approach last year. I invested in mechanization acquiring a harvester, harrower, and seed planters. But just as I scaled up, government policies opened the floodgates to food imports, crashing local prices. Recovering my capital became an uphill battle, and many smallholders like me were pushed out entirely. That exodus, I fear, is a quiet threat to NATIONAL FOOD SECURITY. At my lowest, I questioned whether to walk away. But farming isn't just a business for me, it's a passion. I decided to press on, not for profit, but as my small contribution to feeding the nation, trusting in the Almighty's reward beyond the balance sheet. The core problem remains: farmgate prices simply do not reflect the true cost of production not when fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and labour all command steep prices. So this year, I pivoted again. I shifted focus to corn and soybeans, crops that demand less fertilizer, unlike maize which drains the soil and my wallet. My plea to government is straightforward: Make fertilizers affordable and cheap for peasant farmers. Offer incentives that lower the barrier to entry. Because if we lose the smallholder, we lose the harvest and with it, our food security.

@NASCOC123 @FabrizioRomano You're just looking for engagement, was it a straight red card or 2nd yellow? Did Argentina player committed foul against him to deserve the yellow card? The answer is NO. Was any of the Argentina's goals questionable? The answer is still NO Messi haters should rest!

🚨 Switzerland head coach Yakin: “We were punished because of a mistake. There was no reason for that booking. I don’t understand it. It was an innocent situation; there was nothing malicious about it”. “That decision was simply unbelievable. I completely disagree with it. There was clear contact, and I don’t understand how the referee and the VAR came to that conclusion”. “I wouldn’t say they were being favored. We had a fair and open match. Both teams played football. Football wasn’t the winner today. We were punished by a mistake. It was a decisive moment that determined the outcome of the match. We can complain now, but I have to congratulate Argentina”.

Airplane is the biggest and brilliant invention ever in the history. It's one of human’s greatest engineering achievements. Blending aerodynamics, materials science, propulsion, and advanced systems that lift tons of weight is truly remarkable. Engineering is a tangible profession. I am proud to be part of the Engineering family.

Yesterday, the Vice President and President Bola Tinubu’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election, Senator Kashim Shettima, paid a visit to our headquarters, the City Boy Movement Headquarters, in Abuja. The headquarters, which will soon be officially commissioned, is being fully prepared to serve as the operational hub for our activities ahead of the formal commencement of the 2027 presidential campaign. We remain focused and ready to mobilize support across the country in preparation for the next phase of our collective journey.

MS, as the Governor’s Special Adviser, please advise him not to allow heavy trucks to use the roads within the town. There’s a bypass built for that purpose and they should be required to use it. If trucks must pass through the town, there should be a levy on every truck. The revenue generated can be used to maintain and repair the roads whenever they are damaged.
