What is it with Kenyans? 🇰🇪 This question came up during a deep conversation recently about who we are as a people and how we show up in the world. A fellow guest noticed my Kenya-themed wristband and remarked on something many have observed: how Kenyans can be deeply patriotic, yet also fiercely critical of one another, our leaders, and our institutions. As we reflected, one truth became clear: beneath that criticism often lies something deeper- a conviction that Kenya can be better, because Kenyans know we have what it takes. That, perhaps, is “what it is with Kenyans”: a relentless desire for more. For better. For excellence. I was reminded of this again through inspiring conversations with @KenyaAirways crew on recent flights between London and Nairobi- from Capt. Ruth Karauri and First Officer Guzo, to Capt. Bhavesh, First Officer Malik, Senior Flight Purser Khan, and many others. What stood out was not only their long years of dedicated service at KQ, but their passion, pride, and thoughtful ideas on how we can continue to “sell Kenya as one product- seamlessly and consistently.” Thank you KQ ground and onboard staff for being strong contributors to our Kenyan story. Moments like these reaffirm a simple truth: as leaders, our people are our greatest asset. Kenya’s greatest strength is its human capital. Our responsibility as leaders is to harness that asset in service of national progress. As our National Anthem reminds us: “Build this our nation together.” #Kenya #Leadership #Patriotism #Service #KenyaAirways #BuildKenyaTogether @InvestKenya_ @KenyaMissionUK @ForeignOfficeKE @Diaspora_KE @SingoeiAKorir @roselinenjogu @MakeItKenya @StateHouseKenya @SpokespersonGoK

You’re at a café in Tao or Thika Market. The free Wi-Fi is strong… but scammers are on the same network. Public Wi-Fi can expose your banking details. When accessing your banking app, stick to mobile data. That “free” Wi-Fi might cost you more than you think.

There is a young woman by the name of Noluthando Kossi, originally from Durban, South Africa, who is currently in Thailand 🇹🇭. She works at Beacon House Yamsaard in Rangsit, Pathum Thani. Previously, she worked at Princess Sirindhorn’s College in Nakhon Pathom, and later at a school in Lad Prao, Bangkok. We are sharing this information because Noluthando is currently unwell. She has not reported to work since last Monday, and it has been reported that she has been wandering around the Lumpini Township area, Khlong 1. She appears to be dehydrated and has not eaten. We are urgently requesting assistance in locating her close family members, such as her mother, brother, or sisters. If anyone has any information that may help, please share it with us. Noluthando is a very private and reserved person and does not often communicate with others. We are concerned that she may be experiencing mental health challenges and needs immediate care and support. Please share this post until it reaches the right people

This little girl, barely out of childhood, left her soaked tent under freezing rain and biting cold, carrying a water gallon heavier than her fragile body. If you see this video, put a dot to break the algorithm.

For too long, rightsholders voices have been pushed to the edge, ignored, questioned, erased. VioleACTtoEndViolencee invisibility is enforced and silence is expected. We refuse that erasure. When those who harm walk free, justice becomes another wound. When systems fail to protect, fear becomes a daily reality. Today, we call for accountability that does not excuse violence, delay truth, or abandon those seeking safety. Justice must mean something. Justice must protect. Justice must heal. #ACTtoEndViolence #SRHRDialogues

A just economy allows all citizens to reach their highest potential, the growing inequality in Kenya limits the potential of ordinary hardworking citizens. Are you feeling the pinch? #EndInequalityNOW

2/5 Nearly half of Kenyans now live in extreme poverty. Food prices have pushed families to the edge. Public hospitals are collapsing, and people must fundraise for basic treatment. 68% of all taxes go straight to debt — not schools, not health, not the people.
