No one will believe thieves broke into bank of Uganda just to steal laptops. What are they trying to make disappear?

Africa lacks a strong, unified voice on the global stage. Too often, our leaders are summoned to foreign lands to sit at tables they did not set. A sad reality.

There's a 'public outcry' against corrupt government officials. When will @PoliceUg mob arrest them? Police arrest several from Kampala arcades, including Mutaasa Kafeero Plaza, City House & Kalungi Plaza on allegations of dealing in stolen property following public outcry.

.@nsengoba: More than the death of clerics, the ‘inconvenience’ of being at odds with the government is the most existential threat Ugandans and the Church face today bit.ly/4e9qyvx #MonitorUpdates

Agreed, the current system is an industrial age factory optimized for compliance, sorting and basic credentialing not for awakening curious, wise minds. It produces workers who can follow instructions and pass tests but struggles to foster the self directed learners who actually move civilization forward, that's why so many successful graduates still feel intellectually hollow years later. The real education often begins the moment formal schooling ends, when curiosity isn't punished by a syllabus or timed exam, society won't wake up until enough parents, teachers and employers start rewarding demonstrated wisdom, creativity and depth over paper qualifications. Until then the zombies keep marching. @Makerere @kiuvarsity @UCUniversity @Educ_SportsUg @VUKampala @ReachDrMuganga

the giants who shaped the twentieth century left their entire wisdom in books that cost twelve dollars, yet the refusal of most people to read them may be one of the strangest poverties of our time for the price of a lunch, you can study under any mind in history and almost no one does.

@drkasenene I agree only to the extent that building more muscle is a house whose foundation is cardiovascular fitness…without a large engine, the muscles can only go so far. My neighbor thinks that a two pronged approach is more sustainable; Cardio and strength training…

Muscle is the currency of aging. If you don't have enough muscle on your body, you will age faster, gain more weight and struggle as you age. Make it a point to build more muscle. Do pushups, weights, planks, squats, lunges and more.. Don't focus only on cardio like running.

@iamenocksavage Sadly this is the stage that many of the children these days play on and it will go on until society wakes up and questions the kind of education that zombifies it’s young.

@Ogogeo True school trained us to chase grades not growth. We skim just enough to pass then stop. Real wisdom hits different when no one's testing you on it, that's why so many minds stay stuck at the surface.

EXACTLY: Ugandan parliament is not short of educated opinion. Elite members of the public – from Governor BoU to president ULS – delivered enlightened opinion on the "sovereignty bill" for free. But they’ll still do as Museveni wants. The debate is simply a tick in the box

Funny how Museveni & co., have embraced 1600s political praxis in 2026. As things look, on this "sovereignty bill", M7 is the sovereign – not us, not the country. Like monarchs, he is the supreme authority who allegedly keeps us away from a "state of nature" – a zombie world. The problem, this is 1600s political behavior.

The Sovereignty Bill may pass with a a few or no changes but one thing I love is how that bill has managed to bring out a certain level of civil consciousness amongst Ugandans. For once people didn't just let activists to tussle it out...people have spoken loud against it.
