We’ve noticed more voice actors publicly refusing to work on any project that uses Ai at any stage of production. While the concern is understandable, refusing every project that touches Ai is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. A large percentage of modern productions already use some form of Ai for concept art, script drafts, idea generation, or asset creation. The important part is that these projects are still hiring human voices. That should be seen as an opportunity. If every voice actor turns away from these jobs, producers and studios will eventually have no choice but to rely on ai-generated voices instead. That would hurt the entire community. Ai isn’t going away, and its role in production will only continue to grow. The smartest move is to stay involved in the work that still values real human performance. That’s how we protect the craft and keep the human voice alive in modern production.
