I’ve done all sorts of streams in various categories, not much changes. Even the more “famous” type of folks are botted to the gills and it’s obvious (not saying THEY themselves bot but the streams are, it’s undeniable). Even in those more “popular” categories, it’s very repetitive and I don’t see the numbers grow. However, I do see the boasting get bigger and more loud by the platform and I see more degeneracy and very borderline criminal shit happen more often than it used to. Not sure what’s up or down on this site anymore, I just know that those who are getting their hand outs don’t want to rock the boat and speak up and people do speak up and you see their streams get tanked lol Maybe it’s just coincidence I suppose and nothing more….👀🤷‍♂️

The highest I ever made without a Pitch Kick time slot was between $1 & $2 an hour and those were rare. I streamed long hours because I had to so I could navigate and balance the rest of the money I made outside of streaming, it’s not much from streaming but I’m grateful for what I did make. It was more than I had and it helped. I’ve performed music streams, gamed all sorts of games, did just chatting, fishing streams, irl streams. NONE of those changed my pay rate, no matter how slow or busy the streams are the pay got worse over time. It’s somewhere between 15-20 cents an hour currently, I multicast and do much better on other platforms but I continue to multicast to Kick incase the platform turns around and for those few who strictly watch on Kick (which is a handful at best). I read about the “growth” on Kick all the time from the platform itself but I don’t see it in real time, maybe it’s growing for categories I don’t make content in or frequent often? I don’t know, I just haven’t seen any boost in activity of viewers in anyone else’s channels either, not just my own beside the bot spammed messages for the newest AI Viewer website some asshole is pedaling. Most conversations I have trying to get folks to come watch on Kick lead down a path of how “degenerate of a platform” Kick is or how they don’t “reprimand and get rid of known abusers” of all sorts and or worse stuff folks think they allow on the platform (I’ll leave that one to your imagination). And I can’t tell them it’s not valid to feel that way, we reap what we sow sometimes. So while I understand Eddie’s point here, sometimes there are circumstance for some to do these long streams but also there is something happening in the background that none of us seem to be aware of that’s dropping the pay to nothing for streamers who 1. Don’t bot 2. Don’t do degenerate shit 3. Don’t abuse (or worse but somehow like in most facets of life, for lack of a better phrase, “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” I don’t know ANYONE who is making $20 an hour or more, not one. So that only leaves the bigger famous people in my eyes, but who knows. Mind you, I’m just stating the facts as I’ve come across them. But I could be wrong. I’m rooting for Kick to become the great platform they talk about, that they promised us and the world, I just don’t see it yet. Especially in its current state, I hope they do better. The leadership thats been doing the leading doesn’t seem to be focused on anything other than rich kids who have access to the UFC fighters or Dana White or extremely degenerate content, to each their own I suppose but I hope y’all remember in the long run who the majority is on all of these platforms. Poor fuckn content creating dreamers, not rich weirdos. Just be better. Again, I’m rooting for y’all.
