I’m not saying you shouldn’t, nor am I saying your feelings are invalid; I’m suggesting that there is a way to do it more professionally instead of @‘ing the support staff on X constantly when concerns like these come up. That’s what the support email is for. 🤗 I’ve learned to stop @‘ing certain platform’s support staff and just email because it looks more professional and they are always reasonably quick with responding to feedback/concerns. 💖 I’m also saying that there’s a positive side to having ADs on platforms like Kick, Twitch and YT as it helps adding to the creator’s revenue as long as the ADs aren’t horrible and that we are able to reasonably customize our viewer’s AD experience. 🙏🏻

So we aren’t allowed to post on our own twitter and vent into the void about opinions or things that we question or that bother us? You have never put a post on twitter to vent or question anything? I’m not going to have someone invalidate how we feel on something and make it into something bigger than it is because you are not happy with how it was posted on my husbands or my timeline. No @kicksupport I don’t want to tell you about myself for anything, not for ads, not for gambling. Make this shit go away after I swipe it away more than once. Make kick better, not worse. We’re going the wrong direction.

Okay? I’m not make believing anything, Twitch also has gambling and gambling ads too .. Again I understand your concern, but if it’s THAT big of an issue or concern, then I would humbly suggest submitting a support email to their staff about your concern for the simple questionnaire. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Saphnir @SikLikeJinx @kicksupport That’s pretty much the only place I watch live streams. I’ll just need an ad blocker I suppose. But it’s 100% to promote gambling, even if it’s in the ads. We can buy sprinkles and glitter on it to play make believe all we want. Their money comes from getting people to gamble.

@SikLikeJinx @RandyPopPez @kicksupport Platforms have a right to change their ways; just like us humans have a right to change our opinions when more info is presented to us. They may have a reason to bringing ads to the platform, I find it a good thing because it again, brings more revenue to the creators. 💖

That’s just my POV and observation from this conversation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean you do have the option to not be involved with Stake if the opportunity comes along to deny it if offered. No one is going to try to pull tooth or nail for you to accept it. I know that I’m not one into gambling either but if someone came to offer me a sponsor or something like STAKE, I’d happily and kindly deny it as it’s not in my interest nor my communities interest as well. 🤗

@Saphnir @RandyPopPez @kicksupport He nor I never said that it was. We all feel differently on things. I feel that kick being on the news lately and with the creators they push, ads won’t be what we all want. They will want us to push stake and I will not do that to my community.

I believe this is to see primarily where they can target stake and because of audits they need to have certain information from viewers since their signup to the site is lacking security. There won’t really be a trickle down to creators or ad revenue like other sites. We only comment on things after we research them. We als won’t be pushing stake to our viewers who are struggling to get by like most are right now. My husband is sharing his opinion on something that was advertised as, “if you don’t want to answer it x out.” It shouldn’t come back up. Every time we enter a new stream or refresh, it pops back up. If you x out it should be gone. It shouldn’t come back.

Okay? So they are questions for upcoming ADs that will provide more revenue to the streamers on the platform. 🤷🏻‍♀️ As long as the AD displays aren’t horrible and let us customize the AD settings for our channel, I think it will be just fine. Like I said it’s not that serious lol 🤗

There are reasons for them asking these if you research it. It’s for future ads, not a personalized viewer experience. Other platforms don’t need to survey you, they go by your watch history and viewer habits. They already pull info from our ip’s, but because so many use VPNs, they are missing a lot of demographic info. Stake is also banned in a handlful of states and countries, so their transparency is lacking. We are just sick of having to x it out after every stream we visit, it shouldn’t pop back up.
