@vqrmints I will say I found Argentines annoying but I recently went to Argentina ( Patagonia and Buenos Aires) and the people were incredibly friendly. They’d ask my nationality and I’d tell them I’m Mexican and they were all cool and friendly. So it did change my perception of them.

@Average_Jonas Sounds like someone who lived in LA. Trump, healthcare, housing, tax 🤣 . The vast majority of this country pays less than 50% of Nor. taxes on average and healthcare is easy to buy for most. That said, if you come from a good place, nothing beats home wherever that may be.

Maybe this is a hot take but as someone who lived in the US for 4 years before moving home to Norway, I think the US is a great country to visit, not to live in. You get all the benefits of how grand the experiences are in culture, weather, nature, food, sports etc but you don’t have to worry about healthcare, overpaid housing, taxes that fund wars instead of your well-being and a lacking infrastructure. I understand it’s a big country and I only lived in Los Angeles (which is worse than most other American cities) but you only need one small medical issue to realize how messed up the system is. Also Trump.

What a gaslighting post. I live in California as a legal immigrant. Im literally living the American Dream. Because in the USA we’re living in a merit based system unlike most of Europe. Blaming the problems of the health care system on Trump is unbelievably inaccurate. 100% a cheap shot. Obamacare made a problematic system dramatically worse. Trump is working hard on fixing it. With dramatically reducing drug prices etc. Are you even aware of Medicare? Where people 65 and older see their medical costs dramatically reduced with good coverage? The USA not a great country to live in? Wow. I’m surrounded by people of all origins who love this country to the umpteenth. But, the beauty is that you can think whatever you want. And so can I. 😉
