@leoolisan @dominharvia I personally didnt play the combo version. I think it has too many moving pieces. I think that deck is still being tuned though. Would not surprise me if it became a major player as the lists get better.

Went undefeated in the modern 5k with @dominharvia cutter special. Played the shadowspear in the sb in the main event. Went 5-3. Swapped it with the spellbomb in the side and went undefeated on sunday. Felt favored into most things except boros and tron variants. Deck is gas.

@Oinkmage Gw life gain is a goat starter. My first deck too. Voracious wurm went hard. I remember opening Archangel of Thune and knowing that right then that this card and this game are for me.

Before I won any matches of comp magic I was playing gw lifegain. My one "good card" was archangel. I was winning a lot with my casual group so I was ready to play a win a box. I sat confidently at 57 life against a guy playing all tapped lands. Then I lost to mazes end.
