@OkNameChecksOut @olowe_tumi @MazMHussain Asking you if you would volunteer doesn't equate to a 'logical fallacy' - you severe ignoramus. You don't even know what logical fallacies are and you're posting obvious, low IQ propaganda. Try harder.

If Trump continues the war he will have to deal with an escalating global economic crisis with no clear victory or exit strategy. If he ends it however he will have to deal with backlash from the ruthless Israel Lobby that will continue inflicting political harm on him for the rest of his term and generally make life hell for him and his family. All in all it looks like a very painful political decision that will probably dissuade future presidents from attempting something like this.

Israel will only normalize relations with KSA once there is an irreversible pathway to a Hashemite State. The custodians of the two holy mosques deserve an audience - the descendants of Sharif Hussein demand a two state solution.
Ariel Oseran أريئل أوسيران@ariel_oseran

Saudi Arabia will only normalize relations with Israel once there is an irreversible pathway to a Palestinian state, CNN reports citing a Saudi source, after U.S. President Trump said Middle Eastern states would be required to recognize Israel once an Iran deal is reached.

Iran still laying mines even as they talk of opening the strait, even though it’s much harder to recover them especially when you are a country like Iran (at war at incompetent)… So no…I do not trust that they’re negotiating in good will The ceasefire was not a good idea
Jennifer Griffin@JenGriffinFNC

MORE details on US strikes vs Iranian targets today: 2 Iranian boats were caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, senior US official tells me. The US military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck at a SAM (surface to air missile) site in Bandar Abbas that was targeting US warplanes. “These were defensive strikes.” They do not indicate ceasefire is over, according to two well placed sources.

@turkey_son He is more likely to lose midterms if he takes a bad deal. If anything, once the war began, Americans have loudly said ‘well, at least finish the job.’ And finishing the job would be a MASSIVE win. What he’s doing now will only work against him, objectively.

So Trump keeps doing all he can to get this “deal” done. Again, the point is to open Hormuz, and lock Iran in a holding pattern until after the midterms. That simple. It’s a smart strategic play. Why lose power and the voters at home, when you can actually do both, on your timetable. Iran will be in, at best, the same position in six months, probably weaker. But so many, with zero knowledge of anything, and by reacting to the nonstop reports from people who don’t know anything, make their play by play calls. Trump is using every possible medium to cobble together a six month deal. He is Not being used and manipulated, he is using and manipulating. It’s tricky, he has to convince the Iranians there is any reason to open Hormuz. There really is not for them, they are cooked. But they can cause economic issues. Just a fact. He wants to win the midterms. I am glad he wants to win them. He is going for it all. If he wasn’t trying to make a deal, we wouldn’t be here. He is and has been trying to make a deal Meanwhile the same old people act like Trump is stupid. 🥱

It continues to be a remarkable accomplishment by and/or windfall for our enemies that our discourse has been so successfully focused on Israel, that we entirely ignore the war being waged against us by Qatar.

Not a single Muslim nation in the world has a beauty queen wearing a crown over a hijab but now America does. Americans are being played, big time, by Islamists who are normalizing things in the West that are not even normal in the countries they came from. They sell it as “representation” but what they are really doing is testing how far they can push Islamization in the West.

US oil companies have made nearly $50 billion in additional profits since the Iran war started, benefiting more than any country in the world. I’m surprised how few people know this. The US is now the biggest oil and gas exporter in the world. (Graphic via @nytimes).

@ClayTravis @nytimes This where Republicans screw it up - every time. Clay here seems to believe massive oil profits at a time of high gas prices is a political winner. That’s badly, badly out of touch with Main Street. The absolute last thing voters want to hear right now. But preach on..

Jailing podcasters for “breaking laws” lmao just makes you like 90% of other countries. What used to be interesting & unusual about the US is: 1. Freedom of speech 2. Implicit understanding that public figures need *special* protection against the lawfare, or the freedom of speech becomes a dead letter of the law
YokaiQuequechan@YokaiQuequechan

@kamilkazani It depends on if Hasan actually broke any laws. I'm not sure if he did or not. There are a deluge of sings elsewhere pointing to American decline. This sits near the bottom

"A senior administration official Sunday detailed a three-part framework in which #Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz and disposes of its enriched uranium while the U.S. unwinds its blockade in Iranian ports. Then Washington and Tehran would define terms of further talks to end the war before driving toward the permanent end of Iran’s nuclear program." wsj.com/world/middle-e…
