Now therefore, why are you testing God, to put upon the neck of the disciples a yoke that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? -Simon Peter

In my continuing to attempt to highlight the intrinsic differences between the right and the left (see repost below), today’s Joe Kent affair proves it out again. I will not attempt to discern the motives or inner soul of Joe. But because of his “righteousness” or his grift (again who knows, guessing with Joe it could be the prior), Joe falls on his sword. And the next step will be to join the new “anti-Trump” zealots and “MAGA is dead” crowd. This is a byproduct of conservatism due to its religious nature. Its devotion to purity, sanctity, and truth! It becomes a catalyst for large Egos and for grifters willing to play on principals and ideals. The Left has no issue, because the left has no principals or ideals, just control and a cohort of victims and disenfranchised. That is why the “mass media” is always on the left. Control lives there. The right has always been these little nodes of media, I call it the “micro media.” So, we have a micro-media civil war. Again, some “righteous” and many grifters. The Mass Media serves a huge purpose for the left. It steers their message. No one is thrown overboard as long as they don’t switch sides. On the right, it is a war for audience, engagement, and relevance. And perhaps truth?!? So today the war ensues, is Joe a patriot? A grifter? A lazy malcontent? A man of integrity (can also mean man of Ego!). Who knows but expect the right to rip each other’s faces off, while the left invites in its new buddy. It’s easier to be an arsonist (the left) than a protector (the right). It’s easier to divide people of principle and ideals than to divide the brotherhood of thieves… The key for we conservatives is to keep our eyes on what matters. That is Trump succeeding as we sit on the razors edge. One side the end of America and the other a true and new Golden Age. Will we like the right before, fall for the civil war of egos?

Great piece to read. I would add that this not loyalty to party as much as two different movements and yet the same race of human beings! The Left, the liberal, is here to tear down the old establishment. Anything that hurts the Constitutional United States is good for them, no matter how differentially they do it. All fires lit burn things down, no need to argue about fire types or platforms. Lesbians and Trans people helping Jihadis…no problem! The Right, Conservatives, are always about preservation. It is much harder to protect. And conservatives will debate form over function all the time! Because “morality” matters. The Left is the party of arson, the Right of protection. The Left has no actual ideals or concrete truths, the Right is built on principles, beliefs, and truths. That last part means we can be picked apart on what JD Vance called “purity tests.” If you are a Christian, you know that history, that brothers will kill each other over the slightest doctrinal differences, for the same cause. It is the human problem. People with strong beliefs can be divided easily, especially by charlatans or the uber “self righteous.” That is the struggle for conservatives and always has been. One other thing to note. When the left does take power, what does it always do? It becomes totalitarian. Because it is the only way the Left can bring the right, and its own arsonist base, under control! We tasted some of that here under Biden, just a taste to what China or the USSR tasted, or what Europe is now hatching. That is why the Left always fails when in power, when it’s time to rule, slavery is all they got!

Attorney General Ken Paxton
If John Cornyn wasn't such a weak coward, he would have already called to totally abolish the filibuster. Sadly, John Cornyn is a weak coward, which is why he's choosing to let the Democrats win as the American people suffer.

If I wanted to get the Iranians to expose their final military assets so I could destroy them all… …I might leak out Kharg island stuff for weeks, get everyone talking about Marine amphibious landings and the 82nd airborne, put a clip of boots on the ground on the White House page and delete it… …then feign the attack and watch all the rats come out for the American Eagles to devour!

We owned the skies over Iwo Jima and the seas around it. But the Japanese had 21K troops imbedded on the island, dug into the harsh terrain and ready to fight to the death. 216 surrendered!! (Not happening with these guys) The problem with Kharg will be the 20k civilians on the island more than how ever many Iranian troops… Horrible comparison from Jennifer Grifftin.

Comparing a potential assault on Kharg Island to the Battle of Iwo Jim is moronic. In 1945 the US and Japan were equals, technologically speaking. In 2026 no one can come even close to matching us. Just ask the dozens of Cuban soldiers guarding Maduro…. Our supremacy in the air extends to any potential ground engagement.
Jennifer Griffin@JenGriffinFNC

Our report. Fast facts: Kharg Island 12 sq mi. Iwo Jima 8 sq mi. 70,000 Marines stormed Iwo Jima, nearly 7000 killed, 20,000 injured. MEU has 2500 Marines, 800 infantry. foxnews.com/video/63915642…

What amazes me is Mattis is saying the military strikes are well executed and successful, but are stupid because they have not bore the strategic fruit Trump said they would!?! A guy whose 10 year war bore zero strategic fruit, now pronounces failure weeks into this conflict. Maybe he is not a military mind at all…just another politician in a uniform!
Joey Jones@Johnny_Joey

Over 4,400 U.S. service members died in the Iraq War from the invasion (Mattis commanded) March 2003 through the official withdrawal in 2011. This result of those lives lost was a new war fighting ISIS in 2014. I respect Mattis, but he has very little room to publicly critique a Middle East military operation lead by those who fought under his command simply because it doesn’t mirror his strategy and doctrine.

@SuitablePolitic I stick by my initial thoughts here. I have always been sure of one thing, I trust Trump and he will get it right for us, the US! America!

I have noticed that a lot of people against “nation building” seem ready to pronounce Iran as some kind of hidden democracy or grand monarchy hidden by Islam. Is it that simple? There is a “secular” Iranian or Persian populous, much like Turkey. Is Turkey even keeled and a dream state? Would Iran be more or less that way? Would it be all good news, would it be good news at all? Are we better with this current caveman Iran, hiding from the world, or a more spirited nationalistic one? Just asking because I don’t know, and I doubt anyone knows. The Middle East is still a mess and a powder keg. What does a “new Iran” actually mean to our other “allies” in the region. To the status quo. How are we all so sure it would be awesome? My belief is this area has been what it is for millennia, even before the birth of Islam. I want whatever outcome best serves American interests and keeps this region from blowing up the planet or wrecking our economic plans. That is what Trump has to weigh. We are not freedom fighters, we can’t make Iran a democracy, no matter what any pro Persia X account tells us or how hot women lighting cigarettes with Khomeini photos are. Of course I want the best for the most people. I want Khomeini and his regime to fall. The current Iranian regime is as evil as it gets and has killed many Americans in many ways. That said, I don’t think for one minute Utopia ensues. I trust Trump’s line of sight and decision making as it pertains, not to just Iran, but the total region. These are not black and white decisions, these are very difficult decisions. None more evident than how the parties in the Middle East don’t seem that excited about the coming “New Iran.” Even Israel seems to be holding American action back. I am sure of one thing, Trump is looking out for the US, so are JD and Marco. May there decisions be true!

It became very clear very quickly that Trump had no desire to try and fulfill the quixotic dream of reviving the Shah and placing Pahlavi in power. Dan explains why very well here. What makes Trump remarkable as a leader is that he will almost surely still give the Iranians a significant boost in quality of life. Despite them playing all the wrong cards. The man's an anomaly.
Dandalf@DanTalks1

Whats happening now in Iran a tragedy, it's why I spend so much time trying to explain to people how actual political change occurs. These protesters have been convinced by marvel movie tier propaganda that "protesting" is how political change occurs. This is NOT how it works. They are getting slaughtered by the thousands/tens of thousands now, because they fundamentally have brought into a lie about how regime change works. Outside of the liberal western bubble (and inside too), the only currency that moves the needle is violence, power, money and control. States are their own entities and have their own rules. "Consent of the governed" is a western concept, and even this is not even real. States DO NOT NEED public opinion on their side, they prefer it, but if they have to, the hard fist will come out of the capacity for violence, which is what actually underpins their power. When states are threatened with existential threats like what they believe they are facing, they will simply kill and keep killing until they are safe. Iran is a communist regime, with an islamic facade, but it operates identically. In their structure, the IRGC (Islamic revolutionary guard corps - their enforcers) make billions/tens of billions per year being in charge. You are threatening huge amounts of money, power and control. They will simply kill you if you threaten this in any real way. When it comes to actual power, especially in the middle east there is only power and violence. My rules for watching a regime change is: An Actual leader, with an ACTUAL plan of succession (In Iran this is not happening with Pahlavi, hes a massive fraud) An actual plan of the technical mechanism of taking over, physically WITH VIOLENCE (IE GUNS, EXPLOSIVES ETC) where you are KILLING REAL GUARDS AND SOLDIERS. Holding the key PHYSICAL positions of a country. (police stations, military bases, Treasury, banks, govt institutions, presidential palaces, Ammo depots, state media broadcast stations etc) Contact with the current leadership in power and negotiating a surrender as you move forward, as most prefer not fighting. Unless these are met, the regime will stay in power. Trump cant help because there's no actual plan and no actual general, leading the counter-revolution/protests. Protesting for the sake of voicing your displeasure is fine as a fun out, but please do not think this is how ACTUAL political power transfers occur. That only happens by REAL VIOLENCE and real power. It's a shame, but this is the consequences of decades of propaganda thinking this is how actual power changes work. No, it's how you die and how you get all your supporters to die. Which is what I said last year when the same thing happened. (i'll link below) I'm saying this because it's important to understand, western countries will operate EXACTLY the same way, and it's important we don't have our guys get mowed down like what is happening in Iran now. Also remember, many in the region (including supposed enemies) also benefit from the Iranian regime existing. This is why it needs to be planned out properly and executed properly, because otherwise its just a shoot out until the population either dies or goes back under control.

@rocknrollkd @PhillyGenx @RealCalvin1 A scripture from 1John always comes to my mind as I watch this: “They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But it is so that it might be made manifest that they are not all of us.” Never any need to fret!

The Left is as “religious” as any group in history. A concept I keep selling because it is the answer to why there is no arguing or debate to be had with them. Physical reality and facts mean nothing and “concepts” is how their leaders manipulate their “flocks.” Great listen!

We have been misdirected by a willing accomplice drive-by media working with Robert Mueller and his staff of anti Trump lawyers and the entire Democrat Party combined with a Washington establishment to create in the minds of the American people a story that didn't happen Couldn't happen.
