Rejection is not a sign that you are not good enough. Most times, it is a sign that your application is not speaking the right language yet. There is a big difference between applying and applying strategically.

Yesterday on Instagram Live, I had a powerful conversation with Ebuka. He shared how he faced over 10 scholarship rejections before finally securing a fully funded PhD. If you have been rejected from 5, 10, even 15 scholarships, I need you to read this carefully.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
A former General Arts student who self-studied Physics and Chemistry to pursue engineering has defied the odds to emerge as Valedictorian of the College of Engineering, graduating with a CWA of 86.75. Otuo Serebour’s path to engineering excellence was anything but conventional. Unlike most of his colleagues who came from science backgrounds, he began his academic journey in General Arts. The Sacrifices of Our Heroes 🇬🇭 ⚽️ As a Ghanaian, my heart breaks for Francis Abu, injured serving our Black Stars. His club Toulouse now bears the cost of his recovery, while he misses the World Cup, bonuses, and a crucial career moment. This is the price players pay for our pride. Here’s why we must honour them: Physical Toll: Players like Francis risk their bodies every time they wear the national jersey. His serious injury sidelines him for months, robbing him of peak career years. For Ghana, he gave everything—now he’s left to heal alone. Remember Jerry Akaminko and Jojo Wollacott. Financial Loss: No winning bonuses, no World Cup spotlight. While Toulouse pays his salary, the Ghana government (owner of NTs) usually offer no support. He sacrifices earnings and opportunities for our flag, yet faces uncertainty. Emotional Weight: Representing Ghana is a dream, but missing the World Cup—a stage every player craves—crushes the spirit. Francis carries this loss for us, the fans who cheer from afar. Career Setback: At a critical time, he’s off the pitch, unable to showcase his talent. For club and country, this pause could shift his trajectory. Yet he played for our glory, not his own. This is personal to me. Growing up, I saw our Black Stars as heroes, carrying our hopes. Francis embodies that sacrifice. We must respect and honour these warriors who bleed for Ghana. It’s time we demand better—compensation and support for players injured in national duty. They deserve it. 🇬🇭 ❤ #BlackStars #Ghana
