This is the saddest kind of baseball list. Some of these guys still became legends, which almost makes the what-if worse. Koufax was still Koufax. Bo still became Bo. But Tony C, J.R. Richard, Fidrych, Eric Davis and Sizemore all feel like careers we never fully got. Which injury what-if bothers you most?

I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.” He couldn’t wait to see Jesus face to face. Praise God that his wait is over. Absolutely sacrilegious for me to say, but I have to say it anyway. Moisés Ballesteros, as a hitter, reminds me a bit of Tony Gwynn. Gwynn had speed Mo Baller can only dream of, but strictly as hitters, I can't help but see similarities between the two left-handed batters. Below, we have Gwynn at 22 up against what Moisés is doing so far this season at 22. Gywnn won his first batting title at 24 and the rest was history. If Moisés even has 50% of the career Gwynn had, I would be a happy guy.
