Everyone around you is obsessing over getting a visa to move abroad, thinking the grass is automatically greener over there. It is greener only of you water it. When I was in Winnipeg, I saw at most 4 to 5 Nigerians who were homeless. 3 of them were ladies. Sad sight to see. It's also difficult to get involved since they deal in drugs. While relocating can offer great opportunities, it is not a magic cure for a lack of personal discipline. If you are lazy at home, you will be lazy in a foreign country, but with harsher bills and no family support. Whether you stay or leave, your twenties must be dedicated to hard work. Do not let the desperation to leave stop you from building value exactly where you are right now.
