@Prezain_LJ People pray for protection before leaving their houses, and they still get into accidents and die. Patients in hospitals are constantly praying for healing, and they still succumb to the illnesses. People pray and fast to get jobs, and they die jobless.

Since I stopped talking to God, my life got much better, I stopped being disappointed. I believe in His existence, but I have stopped relying on Him to get things done. I do everything by myself and don’t look up to divination for anything. At least in these years, I don’t have to fast and pray to get things that my human capacity should handle. Man is the architect of his own fortune; God has little or no involvement in the activities of men. I have been living my life like this for years, and I have been succeeding. I live my life as though there is no God to help me, I figure everything out by myself, and I am doing just fine. I strongly believe God doesn’t get involved in our activities; He can’t help anyone. You are not that special out of billions of people in the world for Him to always focus on your prayers and supplications. As long as you keep relying on Him, you may keep being disappointed or living in the illusion of hope that He will come through, when it is obvious He will not. If you are broke, work hard. If you are sick, go to the hospital. Anything you need, you can simply work toward solving it yourself. And if your time comes, nothing can stop it. I mean, people pray to God in the morning for protection before leaving the house and still end up having an accident and losing their life at the same time. The day I realized that prayers cannot solve anything, I started figuring everything out all by myself. If I’m created in His image, I can do just fine with little or no intervention from Him.
