To receive one of these letters is rare, to recieve two in a day over the Christmas period is a very proud feeling 😍 Two people who got to spend Christmas with their loved ones thanks to our actions 💪

@MrNickKnowles It’s tough isn’t it( I’m a year post op knee replacement). My advice- Pilates every day and aqua fitness. As a nurse, I wish someone had told me ( and I had prioritised🤷‍♀️).

Well - in my letter to Santa I did not have two major operations - three knee & one elbow braces - & learning to walk upstairs again - but that’s what he brought me One of the most expensive Xmas holidays ever - but determined to walk normally ready for DIY SOS in February

Great hospital delivering wonderful care. Every NHS hospital will have its own examples alongside well publicised failures. Helpful to see more balance in the news

@lorrainemking @AsdaServiceTeam Same happened to me when our local Asda introduced their cameras 20 years ago. I have never shopped there since, and I reckon they’ve lost the fine in profits that they would have made from me in that time.

@MartinSLewis A poor decision. We know tough decisions to be made, and we’ve all accepted that middle and higher earners will be subject to the tougher decisions, whilst the wrongs of previous governments will be rectified. Winter payments and pensions is the wrong end of the lens to start.

The Waspi judgement today throws up real issues about Ombudsmen. What is the point of an Ombudsman when its judgements aren't enforceable. Too few ombudsmen have full statutory powers to enforce decisions (Financial Ombudsman does) . Either fix that or at least ban any that don't from being called ombudsman just call them "dispute resolution".

@sathNHS just warning people. Came to breast screen yesterday, fab and quick service, in and out 15mins. Supposed to be free parking under 20 mins but charged£3.50. Machine used to say ‘no charge’, but now just charges everyone and according to attendant- nothing can be done 😡

Tories decimated our public services. Tories wasted £Billions and £Billions but NOW you’re angry. Whatever you think of Starmer and this govt. The notion that they’re the worst in history is amazing. We’ve JUST got rid of the most astonishing band of crooks, fraudsters and treasonous sociopaths. If you’ve forgotten that already, you’re either thick or a bloody goldfish.
